Plans change - that's normal. Here are the situations when you can expect a refund for a booking on Booquela.
Cancellation by you
Your refund rights depend on the studio's cancellation rules. Each studio chooses one of three options:
Flexible
- Cancel 24 hours or more before the booking - full refund (100%)
- Cancel less than 24 hours before the booking - half refund (50%)
Moderate
- 5 days or more before the booking - full refund (100%)
- 2-5 days before the booking - half refund (50%)
- Less than 2 days before the booking - no refund
Strict
- 7 days or more before the booking - half refund (50%)
- Less than 7 days before the booking - no refund
You'll see the cancellation rules on the studio's page and in the summary before payment - you always know what terms you're booking under.
Cancellation by the studio
If the studio cancels your booking, you always receive a full refund - regardless of the cancellation rules and how close the visit is.
Booking declined
If the studio requires manual approval and declines your booking, the payment will be refunded or won't be charged at all (depending on the payment policy).
Issues during your visit
If serious problems occurred during your visit - for example, the room looked completely different from the photos or ordered equipment was missing - contact the studio through messages on the platform. If you can't reach an agreement, you can report the issue to us through the contact form.
What's not covered by the refund
The Booquela service fee is not refundable - even with a full cancellation.
Always check the studio's cancellation rules before booking. You'll find it on the room page and at checkout in the booking summary.
