How to change your profile details

How to update your name, email, phone, and profile photo on Booquela.

Updated 19.02.2026

Moved to a new place, changed your phone number, or just want to update your profile photo? Changing your details takes a few seconds.

How to edit your profile

  1. Click your name in the top right corner
  2. Select Profile
  3. Change the details you want to update:
    • Name
    • Phone number
    • Profile photo - click on the avatar to upload a new photo
  4. Click Save Changes

Changes are visible immediately after saving.

Changing your email address

Changing your email requires an extra step - after saving the new address, you will receive a verification link at that address. Until you click the link, the old address remains active. This prevents anyone from "taking over" your account by changing the email to theirs.

If you do not see the verification email, check your spam folder. You can also request the link to be sent again.

What others see

Studios see your name and profile photo. Your phone number is only visible to studios where you have an active booking. Your email address is not publicly visible - studios only see it when you have a confirmed booking with them.

Owner profile

If you manage a studio, your name and profile photo are displayed as the studio's contact details. Keep them up to date - clients see them on the studio page and with every booking.

What if I change my name?

Changing your name does not affect existing bookings or reviews. Studios will see the updated name on future bookings. Your new name will appear in booking history and reviews. You do not need to inform studios about the change - they will see it automatically.

Can I remove my profile photo?

Yes. If you want to remove your profile photo, simply upload a new one or revert to the default avatar. A profile photo is not required, but it helps studios recognize you at check-in.

Add your phone number to your profile. Studios can use it to contact you in case of urgent changes - e.g., equipment failure right before a visit. You do not have to, but it makes communication easier in urgent situations.
