Tracking payouts to your bank account

How to track payouts from Stripe to your bank account and what to do when a transfer is delayed.

After each booking, money does not go to your account immediately - it goes through Stripe, which processes the payment and automatically transfers funds to your bank account.

How the process works from payment to payout

Ola runs a ceramics workshop. A client paid 300 PLN for a booking on Tuesday. Here is what happens next:

  1. Stripe processes the payment and deducts Booquela's commission
  2. Funds land in the Stripe balance (Ola can see this in the Express dashboard)
  3. Stripe automatically initiates a bank transfer to Ola's account
  4. Money appears in her account within 2-7 business days

In practice, Ola receives the transfer between Friday and the following Tuesday.

Where to track payout status

In Booquela

In the Owner Panel > Finance section you can see the status of each transaction - whether funds are being processed, in transit to your account, or already completed.

In the Stripe Express dashboard

Click Open Stripe Dashboard in the Stripe Connect section. There you will find:

  • The exact date of each transfer
  • The amount that will reach your account
  • The expected arrival date

Payout frequency

You can choose how often Stripe transfers money. Set this in the Stripe Express dashboard:

  • Daily - a transfer every business day (default)
  • Weekly - one payout per week
  • Monthly - one payout per month

For most studios, daily payouts work best - money flows in regularly.

What if a payout is delayed

  • First payouts may take longer - up to 14 days. This is normal, subsequent ones will be faster.
  • Check your bank details in the Stripe Express dashboard - a typo in the IBAN number can block the transfer.
  • Weekends and holidays do not count - the 2-7 days means business days.
  • If more than 10 days have passed and you do not see the transfer - check the Stripe Express dashboard, and if the status is "completed", contact your bank.

What if I want to change the payout account

Change the account number in the Stripe Express dashboard under Settings > Bank details. The change takes effect from the next payout. The account must be in PLN and belong to you or your company.

If you keep accounting records and need payout confirmations, you can find them in the Stripe Express dashboard under Documents.
