When a studio replies to your message, you want to know right away - especially if you're arranging details for tomorrow's session. Here's how message notifications work on Booquela.
Email notifications
Every time a studio sends you a message, you receive an email. It includes:
- A preview of the message so you know what it's about
- A link to the full conversation on the platform
You always reply from the platform (not by email) - this way the entire conversation history stays in one place.
Platform notifications
After logging into Booquela, you'll see a message icon in the top menu. If you have unread messages, a counter will appear next to it. Click it to go to your conversations list.
How not to miss an important message
A few practical tips:
- Check your spam folder - if you're not getting email notifications, messages may have ended up in spam. Add Booquela's address to your trusted senders
- Log in before your visit - especially 24 hours before, to check if the studio sent any instructions
- Keep email notifications on - it's the most reliable way to stay on top of studio replies
Studios often send important logistics information 1-2 days before a visit - door code, floor number, parking spot. If you haven't received such a message, reach out yourself.
What if I'm not getting notifications?
If you're not receiving emails about new messages:
- Check the spam/junk folder in your inbox
- Make sure the email address on your account is correct (you can check this in account settings)
- If the problem persists, contact Booquela support
Can I turn off notifications?
You can adjust notification settings in My Account. Keep in mind, though, that turning off email notifications means you'll only learn about new messages when you log into the platform.
