Calendar export via iCal

How to sync your room calendar with Google Calendar, Apple Calendar, or Outlook.

Updated 19.02.2026

Want to see Booquela bookings in your Google Calendar or Apple Calendar? iCal export lets you sync a room's calendar with any external calendar.

How to generate an iCal link

  1. Go to Owner Panel -> Calendar -> iCal.
  2. Click Generate Feed next to the room you want to export.
  3. The system will create a unique link - copy it.

Adding to Google Calendar

  1. Open Google Calendar.
  2. On the left side, click "+" next to "Other calendars".
  3. Select "From URL".
  4. Paste the copied link from Booquela.
  5. Click "Add calendar".

Bookings will appear within a few minutes. Google Calendar refreshes subscriptions automatically (usually every few hours).

Adding to Apple Calendar

  1. Select File -> New Calendar Subscription.
  2. Paste the link.
  3. Click Subscribe and choose the refresh frequency.

What the feed contains

In the exported calendar you'll find:

  • Confirmed bookings with the client's name and hours
  • Manual blocks
  • Buffers between sessions

Cancelled and expired bookings are not exported.

How often does the feed refresh?

It depends on the external calendar - Google Calendar usually refreshes subscriptions every few hours, Apple Calendar lets you set the frequency (from every 5 minutes to once daily). The Booquela feed is generated live - every time the link is accessed, it returns the current calendar state.

Can I share the link with my team?

Yes, but do it carefully. The link contains an access token - anyone who has it can see the room's calendar. If someone unauthorized gains access, regenerate the link (details in the article about regenerating iCal links).

Does each room have a separate link?

Yes. You generate a separate feed for each room. This way you can export, for example, only the cyclorama room to your calendar and the portrait room to your manager's calendar.

The iCal link is read-only. Changes in the external calendar (e.g., adding an event in Google Calendar) do not affect bookings in Booquela.
