How to edit and manage rooms

How to edit room details, publish, hide, and manage your listing.

Need to change a room description, update capacity after renovation, or temporarily hide a room from your listing? You can do all of this from the room editor.

Editing room details

  1. Go to Owner Panel -> Rooms.
  2. Click Edit next to the room.
  3. Change the needed details - name, description, category, area, capacity.
  4. Click Save changes.

Changes to description and name are visible immediately. If you have active bookings, clients will see the updated information on the room page.

Publishing and hiding rooms

Each room has a publication status:

  • Published - visible in search, clients can book it
  • Hidden - invisible in search, but existing bookings remain active

You'll find the toggle on the room edit page. Hide a room when:

  • You're doing renovation or equipment replacement
  • You need a break from accepting bookings for this room
  • You want to prepare a listing without publishing it right away

Example: Marek is replacing lighting in his cyclorama room. He hides it for two weeks - clients with existing bookings can still come, but new bookings aren't accepted. After the work is done, he republishes the room with an updated description and new photos.

Common questions

Does changing the description affect existing bookings?

No. Bookings that were already placed retain conditions from the time of booking. New clients will see the updated description.

I hid a room - what about future bookings?

Existing bookings remain active. Hiding only blocks new bookings.

Can I delete a room?

A room can only be deleted if it has no bookings. If it has booking history, it's better to hide it.

I changed the room slug (URL). Will old links work?

No - after changing the slug, the old address will stop working. If you shared the room link with clients, send them the new one.
