A room is the basic booking unit on Booquela - it's the specific space that clients rent by the hour. A photography studio might have a cyclorama room, a portrait room, and a darkroom - each is a separate room with its own pricing and calendar.
Adding a room
- Go to Owner Panel -> Rooms.
- Click Add Room.
- Fill in the form:
- Name - e.g., "Cyclorama Room", "Podcast Studio A"
- URL (slug) - automatically generated from the name, you can change it
- Category - space type (photography studio, podcast room, recording studio, etc.)
- Description - what the client will find in the room, what type of sessions it's suited for. Fill in both Polish and English
- Area - surface in square meters
- Maximum capacity - how many clients can use the room simultaneously
- Save the room.
After adding a room
The room itself is just the beginning. For it to be visible to clients and ready for bookings, you still need:
- Photos - add at least 3, ideally 5-10 (the first photo becomes the cover in search results)
- Pricing - without pricing, the room won't appear in search
- Amenities - add equipment available in the room
The room won't be visible to clients until it's published and has pricing set up. You can safely prepare everything before publishing.
Common questions
How many rooms can I add?
No limit. Add as many rooms as you have spaces to rent.
Can I have rooms in different categories?
Yes. In one studio you can have a photography room and a podcast room - each with its own category.
I added a room but can't see it in search. What should I do?
Check three things: is the room published, does it have pricing set up, and is the studio active. All three conditions must be met.
