Message attachments - photos and documents

How to send photos and documents in messages to clients.

Updated 19.02.2026

Sometimes words are not enough - you need to send the client a photo of the room, a directions map, or a PDF with studio rules. You can do this directly in the conversation.

How to send an attachment

  1. Open the conversation with the client in Owner Panel > Messages.
  2. Click the paperclip icon next to the text field.
  3. Select a file from your computer.
  4. Wait for the file to upload (you will see a preview).
  5. Optionally add text to the message.
  6. Click Send.

What you can send

  • Images - JPG, PNG, GIF, WebP
  • Documents - PDF
  • Maximum size - 10 MB per file

When attachments really help

Piotr runs a studio in an old building with no obvious signage. Clients regularly asked how to find it. Piotr prepared a photo of the entrance with the staircase marked and sends it to every client the day before the booking. Since then, nobody gets lost.

Practical uses:

  • Photo of the studio entrance - especially useful when the studio is in a courtyard or on an upper floor
  • Parking instructions - a photo with a description of where to park
  • Studio rules - a PDF with rules for using the room and equipment
  • Equipment photos - a client asks about a specific light? Send them a photo
  • Defect documentation - if a client reports a problem, ask for a photo

What if...

  • File is too large? Reduce the image resolution or compress the PDF. The limit is 10 MB.
  • I want to send a video? Currently only images and PDFs are supported. You can share a video link instead.
  • Can I delete a sent attachment? No, attachments cannot be deleted after sending. Both parties (you and the client) have access to them.

Prepare a set of standard files - directions map, entrance photo, studio rules - and send them with a message template the day before each visit.
