Stripe Connect account verification

How to complete Stripe Connect verification and start accepting client payments.

Before clients can pay for bookings at your studio, you need to complete Stripe Connect verification. It is a one-time process - once done, payments start flowing in automatically.

When you need this

Stripe requires identity verification to process payments and transfer money to your bank account. Until verification is complete, clients will not be able to pay for bookings online.

How to complete verification

  1. Open Owner Panel and go to Stripe Connect.
  2. Click Connect with Stripe - the Stripe page will open.
  3. Fill in the form step by step:
    • Personal details - first name, last name, date of birth
    • Address - residential or business address
    • Identity document - ID card or passport (photo of both sides)
    • Bank details - IBAN account number for receiving payouts
  4. Submit the form and wait for verification.

The whole process takes about 10 minutes. Stripe usually verifies your data within 1-2 business days.

What documents to prepare

This depends on your business type:

  • Individual - ID card or passport
  • Sole proprietorship - ID card + tax number
  • Company - representative's ID card + company tax number/registration

Make sure the document is legible - a clear photo without glare, good lighting, with all corners visible.

Verification status

After submitting your documents, you will see one of these statuses in the Stripe Connect panel:

  • Verification in progress - Stripe is reviewing your data, usually takes 1-2 business days
  • Verified - everything is ready, you can accept payments
  • Requires additional info - Stripe needs more information or corrected documents

What if something goes wrong

  • Document rejected? Take a new, clear photo and resubmit.
  • Verification taking longer than 3 days? Check your email - Stripe may have asked for additional data. If you have not received any message, contact us.
  • Made a mistake in your data? You can correct it in the Stripe Express dashboard after verification is complete.

Before publishing your studio on Booquela, make sure Stripe verification is complete. Without it, clients will see your listing but will not be able to book.
