1. General Provisions
1.1. This document defines the rules for calculating and collecting service fees on the Booquela platform.
1.2. The Platform charges service fees to maintain its technical infrastructure, process payments, provide User support, and continuously develop its services.
2. Service Fee for Clients
2.1. A service fee payable to the Platform is added to the price of each Booking.
2.2. The service fee is visible on the Listing page and in the order summary before confirming the Booking. The Client always knows the full amount due before making a payment.
2.3. The service fee is calculated based on the net Booking value (room price and any add-ons).
2.4. The refundable deposit is settled directly between the client and the studio. Booquela does not manage the deposit and does not decide on its retention or return.
3. Commission for Studio Owners
3.1. The Platform deducts a commission from each completed Booking payout to the Studio Owner.
3.2. The current commission rate is displayed in the Studio Owner's dashboard in the financial settings section.
3.3. The commission is automatically deducted at the time of payout processing.
4. When Fees Are Charged
4.1. The Client service fee is collected at the time of Booking payment.
4.2. The Studio Owner commission is deducted at the time of payout for a completed Booking.
4.3. For deferred payments, fees are charged according to the payment schedule applicable to the given Booking.
5. Service Fee Refunds
5.1. Cancellation by Studio Owner - the Client receives a full refund of the amount paid, including the service fee.
5.2. Cancellation by Client - the service fee refund follows the cancellation policy applicable to the given Studio. If the cancellation policy provides for a refund of the Booking price, the service fee is refunded proportionally.
5.3. Cancellation by Platform - if a Booking is cancelled due to reasons attributable to the Platform, the Client receives a full refund of all fees.
6. Fee Changes
6.1. The Platform reserves the right to change service fee and commission rates.
6.2. Users will be notified of rate changes via the Platform at least 14 days before they take effect.
6.3. Rate changes do not apply to Bookings already confirmed before the effective date of the new rates.
7. Current Rate Information
7.1. Current Client service fee rates are visible on the Listing page before making a Booking.
7.2. Current commission rates for Studio Owners are available in the Studio management dashboard.
