From finding a studio to walking in for your visit - the entire process takes just a few minutes. Here is how it works.
1. Find a space
On the Booquela homepage, use the search function. You can filter by:
- City - type the city name or choose from the list
- Category - photography studio, podcast room, recording studio, art workshop
- Price - set a price range that works for you
In the results, you will see studio cards with photos, ratings, prices, and locations. Click a card to see the full studio profile.
2. Choose a room
Studios can have one or more rooms. Each room has:
- A photo gallery
- Description and amenities list (e.g., backdrops, lighting, air conditioning)
- Hourly pricing
- Availability calendar
Browse rooms and pick the one that best fits your project.
3. Book a time slot
On the room calendar:
- Select a date
- Mark the hours you want to book (hourly booking - you can select e.g., 2:00 PM - 5:00 PM)
- Optionally add extras - if the studio offers additional lighting, backdrops, or technical assistance
- Click Book
Grayed-out hours on the calendar indicate taken or unavailable time slots.
4. Pay online
After clicking "Book," you will see a summary with:
- Selected date and hours
- Price (breakdown of hourly rate, extras, and service fee)
- The studio's cancellation rules
Pay by card, BLIK, or online transfer. Payment is secure - it is processed by Stripe.
5. Attend your visit
After your booking is confirmed, you will receive an email with:
- The studio address
- Instructions for getting there and entering (e.g., intercom code, floor)
- A booking summary (date, hours, selected extras)
If you have questions before your visit, send a message to the studio through the platform's messaging system.
6. Rate the studio
After your visit ends, you will receive an email inviting you to leave a review. You have 14 days. Your feedback helps other creators and motivates studios to maintain high standards.
If this is your first visit to a studio, send a message before your visit and ask about directions and parking. Most studios are happy to help.
