Check-in is the moment your visit officially begins. You do not need to click anything in the app - the studio staff handles check-in.
How it works in practice
Anna arrived for her photo session at 12:00. She enters the studio, introduces herself at reception, and gives her name. The studio staff member finds her booking in the system and clicks "Check in". From that moment, Anna's booking status changes to In Progress - she can see this in her My Bookings panel.
Before you leave home
A few things are worth checking beforehand:
- Studio address - you will find it in your booking details
- Messages from the studio - the studio may have sent directions, a door code, or information about which floor to go to
- Travel time - plan to arrive 5-10 minutes early so you do not start the visit in a rush
On site
- Report to the staff - introduce yourself and give the name your booking is under
- Listen to the walkthrough - the studio may explain rules for using equipment and the room
- Check the room condition - take a quick look at the equipment and report any existing damage
What if I am late?
If you realize you will not make it on time, send a message to the studio through the Booquela messaging system. Remember that your booking time runs from the reserved hour - not from the moment you actually arrive. The studio is not obligated to extend your visit by the time you were late, although some will accommodate you if the room is free after your visit.
What if the studio does not check me in?
If you arrived on time but the studio staff are unavailable or did not perform the check-in, contact the studio through the messaging system. If the problem persists, you can report the situation to the Booquela support team.
Take a few photos of the room right after entering. This is good practice in case of a later dispute about equipment condition.
